A bimonthly e-mail letter from agency officers and staff to leaders of United Methodist Men

August 12, 2015

Following a cruise on “The Fun Ship,” Bishop James Swanson Sr. suggests UM Men follow the example of crew members.

Gil Hanke advises men to avoid settling for sound bites of Scripture. He suggests we read individual passages in the context of an entire book of the Bible.

Dan Ramsey invites men to give God your whole heart and your heart whole. It is important to listen, share, and be thankful for what God does in our lives.

Larry Coppock tells how leaders from several denominations provided high adventure New Testaments to Boy Scouts.

Jim Boesch encourages men to assess their spiritual gifts in order to answer questions about purpose, value and legacy.

Mark Lubbock encourages men to do their life with older mentors,  spiritual peers, and  younger men they can mentor.

Mark Dehority knows the Lord has plans for you, but he doesn’t. He suggests God calls people and surrounds them with people who can equip them.

Our newly re-designed website provides opportunities to respond to each of these letters.

Expand the ministries of Strength for Service by purchasing material from a Home Depot store. The General Council on Finance and Administration provides step-by-step instructions. Do not try to register your credit card at a store.
